West Martello Garden

Key West Garden Club is located inside the remains of the West Martello Tower – an old Navy guard tower. The tower was decommissioned in 1947 and given over to Monroe County. The garden club was allowed to use it as base of operations beginning in 1955 and is still located there today. The Key West Garden Club is one of the last free attractions in Key West and it is well worth checking out.

Fort Zachary State Park

Take a narrated tour of Fort Zachary Taylor and see Civil War cannons and learn about the fort's construction.

Tours of the historic fort are offered at 11am daily.

Take a stroll along the nature walk around the park and view the native wildlife, trees, shrubs and wildflowers.  Many walking trails are wheelchair accessible.
